Trade Skills Assessment is an evaluation process that determines whether your skills, qualifications, and work experience meet Australian trade standards for your nominated occupation.
The process is a combination of assessing the qualifications and employment against the suitability of a particular occupation.
Qualification Assessment
This involves assessing the level of education of a particular qualification as per the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and determining the relevance of that qualification to the chosen occupation.
Employment Assessment
Employment assessment involves determining whether the employment (in Australia or overseas) is at an appropriate skill level and relevant to the chosen occupation.
A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive successful Skills Assessment Outcome.
Select the right assessment pathway based on your qualifications and work experience. Whether you hold formal trade certifications or have extensive hands-on experience, choosing the correct pathway ensures a smooth and successful skills assessment process for migration.
